Project Scope: Complete Refit

A complete refit was carried out at multiple locations throughout the UK. Existing units were stripped out to a shell and a new branding design was installed. The scope of works included installation of new shop fronts including roller shutters and rear security doors to the rear of premises where required. New vinyl, carpet and ceramic floorings were laid along with new ceilings, sound and fire proofing. Building works were carried out including brickwork, joinery, plastering, rendering and roofing work. The scope included production and installation of counter shelving, security screens and all decoration. Electrics, including all lighting and network cabling, were installed along will full test and final certification.

The project included provision of staff welfare facilities and toilet facilities for customers.

The Port Glasgow installation had the added complication of listed building status, involving close liaison with Scottish building control and listing agencies. The location was formerly a bank and required demolition of existing walls, propping of the building and installation of structural steelwork in accordance with a structural engineers instructions. Similar works were also carried out at Wishaw and Gleadless, Sheffield.

The projects were fully project managed including procurement of materials.
